Rx Clay for Dogs: How It Works & When to Use It (Simple Guide)
Okay, so I saw this thing online about using rx clay for dogs and I thought, "Hmm, interesting!" I've got a golden retriever, Max, who's always getting into something. He's usually fine, but sometimes he ends up with a bit of an upset tummy. So, I decided to give this clay thing a try.

Getting Started
First, I had to find some of this rx clay. I looked around online and finally found a place that sold it. It wasn't super cheap, but I figured it was worth a shot if it could help Max.
Mixing it Up
The instructions were pretty straightforward. I got a bowl and put in some of Max's regular food. Then, I added the amount of clay that the instructions specified. I started with a small amout first, just to see.
I used:
- A clean Bowl
- Max's favorite food
- The rx clay powder
- Little water
I mixed it all together. It looked a bit weird, kind of like muddy food, but Max didn't seem to mind.
The Taste Test
I put the bowl down in front of Max, and he went right for it. Sniffed it for a second, then started chowing down. He ate the whole thing, no problem. I guess he liked the taste, or at least he didn't hate it.
Waiting and Watching
After he ate, I just kept an eye on him. I was a little nervous, to be honest, but he seemed fine. He played, napped, and did all his usual dog stuff.
The Results
And you know what? It seemed to work! Max's tummy troubles calmed down. No more loose stools or anything. I was pretty impressed. I'm not saying this is a miracle cure or anything, but it definitely helped in this situation.
I'm planning to keep some of this clay on hand, just in case Max gets into something he shouldn't again. It's good to know there's something I can do to help him feel better, and It's great.
