Are Snoop Dogg dog toys durable enough for strong chewers? Learn about their toughness and if they last long playtime.
So, I kept hearing bits and pieces about these Snoop Dogg dog toys. You know how it is, stuff pops up, people mention things. My dog, Buster, he goes through toys like nobody's business, always needin' something new to chew on or chase around.

Givin' Them a Shot
I figured, alright, let's see what this is all about. Snoop Dogg, dog toys... seemed kinda funny, honestly. Curiosity got the better of me. Went lookin' around online, nothin' too specific, just browsin' here and there. Found a couple that looked alright, not too expensive, which is good 'cause Buster destroys things fast.
Placed an order. Waited a few days. The package finally showed up. Standard brown box, nothing fancy.
Unboxing and First Thoughts
Opened it up. Pulled out the toys. One was like, this plush boombox thing? Kinda cool looking, gotta admit. The other was a rubbery vinyl record chew toy. Seemed sturdy enough, which is always my main concern. Didn't smell weird or anything, that's a plus.
- The plush boombox had a squeaker inside. Standard stuff.
- The vinyl record felt pretty tough. Good texture for chewing.
Buster's Verdict
Called Buster over. Showed him the goods. He went straight for the plush boombox, probably 'cause of the squeaker. Shook it around like crazy for a good ten minutes. Typical Buster. Then he dropped it and sniffed the vinyl record. Gave it a few tentative chews, then really went to town on it.
Been a few days now. The boombox is, well, less boxy. He managed to rip a small hole near the handle, stuffing's starting to peek out. Predictable. But he still carries it around sometimes.
The vinyl record thing though? Still going strong. He chews on it every day, and it barely has any deep marks. Impressive, actually. Most rubber toys don't last this long with him.
So, What's the Deal?

Overall? They're dog toys. The Snoop Dogg branding is just that, branding. A bit of fun, maybe a conversation starter if someone sees it. The plush one was average, kinda what I expected. The rubber record chew toy, though, that one surprised me. Seems pretty durable, at least for Buster.
Was it worth tracking down "Snoop Dogg" specific toys? Eh. If you see 'em and need a toy, especially a tough chewer like that record one, maybe give it a go. But I wouldn't go on a massive hunt just for the name. It's more about whether the toy itself works for your dog. For me, one out of two was a decent win, especially the tough one.
