Honest Instinct Puppy Food Review: What You Need to Know
Alright, so I wanted to talk about this dog food I tried out for my pup. You know, finding the right food is always a mission. This time, I decided to give Instinct Puppy Food a shot.

First thing I did, I hopped online and did a bunch of reading. Saw some good reviews, saw some not-so-good ones. But figured, hey, every dog is different, right? So I went ahead and bought a bag of the stuff. Got the chicken recipe 'cause my dog seems to dig chicken more than anything else.
The bag itself, it looked pretty decent. Good packaging, nothing ripped or anything. And when I opened it, it actually smelled kinda...okay? You know how some dog food smells like death? This wasn't like that. It smelled like, well, dog food, but not in a totally gross way.
So, I measured out a portion according to the bag. My puppy's a little guy, still growing. Mixed it in with a little warm water, just to soften it up a bit. He went straight for it. Like, no hesitation. Which is always a good sign.
Over the next few weeks, I kept feeding him the Instinct Puppy Food. I was keeping an eye on a few things: his energy levels, his poops (yeah, I know, gross, but it's important!), and his coat. His energy seemed good, he was still his crazy, playful self. His poops were...normal. Not too hard, not too soft. And his coat actually looked a little shinier, which was a nice surprise.
I did notice one thing, though. He seemed a little gassier than usual. Like, those silent but deadly kind of farts that clear a room. I wasn't sure if it was the food or something else, but it was definitely noticeable.
Anyway, I finished the bag of Instinct Puppy Food. Overall, I'd say it was a decent experience. My dog liked it, it seemed to be good for him, and the ingredients list looked pretty clean. Would I buy it again? Maybe. I'm always on the lookout for the best food for my furry friend, so I might try some other brands before settling on anything. But yeah, Instinct Puppy Food, it's not a bad option at all.
- Good ingredients
