Dog Frisbee Toy: Which One is Best for Your Pup?
Okay, here's my take on sharing my dog frisbee toy project, blog-style:

Hey everyone!
So, been tinkering around in the garage again, and this time it was for my furry buddy, Max. He's a frisbee fiend, absolutely bonkers for the thing, but the store-bought ones just don't last, you know? They get chewed up, cracked, or just plain lost in the park. I figured, "Why not try making one?"
First, I grabbed some materials. I had this old, thick piece of canvas tarp lying around – perfect! It's tough, but still has some give. Then, I rummaged through my scrap bin and found some heavy-duty nylon webbing for the edges. Figured that would add some extra durability and make it easier for Max to grip.
Next up: the design. I didn't want anything too complicated, just a classic frisbee shape. I took one of Max's old frisbees, traced it onto the canvas, and added about an inch all around for a seam allowance. Then, I cut out two circles.
Time to sew! This was the trickiest part. I started by pinning the webbing around the edge of one of the canvas circles, making sure to fold it over to create a nice, clean edge. Then, I carefully sewed it on using my sewing machine. I went around twice just to make sure it was super secure. Repeated the process for the second circle.
Now for the fun part: putting it all together. I placed the two circles right sides together, with the webbing edges facing out. I pinned them together, leaving a small opening for stuffing. Then, I sewed around the entire edge, again going over it twice for extra strength.
Once it was sewn, I flipped it inside out through the opening. This was a bit of a struggle because the canvas was so thick, but I eventually managed it. Then, I stuffed the frisbee with some old t-shirt scraps to give it some shape and weight. You could use batting or other stuffing material too. I just used what I had on hand.
Finally, I hand-stitched the opening closed. I made sure to use a strong stitch and pull it tight to prevent the stuffing from coming out. And that was it! My DIY dog frisbee toy was done!

The moment of truth: Max's reaction. I took him out to the backyard, threw the frisbee, and he went nuts! He caught it, chewed on it (a little, haha), and brought it back for more. He loved it!
It's not the prettiest frisbee in the world, but it's tough, durable, and Max seems to really enjoy it. Plus, I reused some materials that would have otherwise gone to waste. Win-win!
I'll keep you guys updated on how it holds up. Maybe I'll even try making a few more with different materials and designs. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!
